He now considers himself a multi-genre’d Hip Hop artist whom initially focused on the limits of the Hip Hop sound, but now he also incorporates the sounds of various types of music that he listens to as well whether it be Pop, R&B, Rock or Hip Hop. By producing limitless music, it has allowed him to reach a wider demographic than your average artist. His new material consists of sounds that include Hip Hop mixed with Pop, R&B, and Rock. Along with his already existing versatility , Kacey has said that he would be open to doing a song with an artist in any genre because one of his goals are to expand Hip Hops culture.

With all of the cosigns and positive comments, who was Kacey Chrysler before he emerged into the public eye? On Jan 2nd, 1988 Kacey was born in Bedford Stuy Brooklyn which is now known as the land of the greatest rappers of all time by it being the home of Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-z just to name a few. He is an only child that never knew his father and his mother was so doing so bad on drugs that he winded up in foster care while only 6 months old and remained their until age two which was when his grandmother decided to raise him and become his legal guardian. Kacey was raised by his grandmother whom lived in East New York Brooklyn which even till this day , has the highest crime rate throughout all of New York City and has carried that title for the last decade. Growing up in a neighborhood heavily influenced by gangs and drugs, Kacey began to find himself in trouble with the law at an early age. Suspended and expelled from nearly every school he attended, his grandmother who was a NYC school teacher did not give up on him. At age 13 Kacey was sent away to a Group Home in Great Kills Staten Island where the only black people for miles were the ones in this group home. It was called “Boys Hope Girls Hope America” and his grandmother hoped that a new environment would be able to mold him into something positive. At the group home Kacey’s behavior became worst and was eventually sent back to East New York Brooklyn with his grandmother just two years later. He immediately began to once again run the streets and find himself being arrested more frequently than before . His countless bad decision making as a youth had led to his life being laid on the line dozens of times and the future of kacey chrysler began to look very slim. Throughout all of the drama Kacey always found peace by writing poetry, or listening to music which was a key factor in with his current talents. Lets fast forward to the middle of his senior year in high school and his graduation was in doubt by mid year because the average of one class was below 65. It wasn’t because he couldn’t do the work, but he simply was cutting too many classes and all of his teachers would tell you that he would have high grades if he changed his crowd. Frightened by his graduation in doubt, Kacey buckled down and surprisingly received all 80’s and 90’s in his 3rd & 4th quarter grades and graduated on time. At age 18 , Kacey Chrysler woke up and made hard work his priority and enrolled in Long Island University and was placed in the honors program after receiving a perfect score on the entry exam . He is currently finishing up his degree and plans on pursuing his masters degree as well.

Now Kacey Chrysler is one the most recognized names throughout the Underground, the media , and is known worldwide as the most anticipated rising star of 2010 . He will be dropping a highly anticipated LP at the end of March entitled : Violator Dj’s Europe, Slip N Slide Dj’s International, Ecko Unlimited, Tapcom Productions & DJ Metino Present: Kacey Chrysler “KINGS COUNTY” which is sure to make an amazing impact in Hip Hop.
